Wildmoor Waters is a beautiful lake on the edge of the picturesque village of South Cerney. There are some lovely circular walks you can do from here and spot the local wildlife whilst out and about. This area is famous for Nightingales in May, big flocks of starlings in winter plus hosts of other birds and waterfowl. At Wildmoor we have spotted around 70 different species of birds.
There are lots of things to do and see in the area, from birdwatching to shopping and loads in between.
There is loads to do in the Cotswold Water Park with the Somerford Keynes Country Park and its inland beach, nature reserves, walks, guided walks, cycling, picnic areas and the more adventurous may want to have a go at water skiing.
Batsford Arboretum is within easy striking distance being about a 25 minute drive away. Batsford is beautiful all year round and there are some lovely walks, a good cafe, garden centre as well as a falconry centre.

The world famous Slimbridge Wetlands Trust is about 35 minutes drive away.
The International Centre for Birds of Prey at Newent is about a 50 minute drive.
The Thames Path follows England's best known river for 184 miles (294km) as it meanders from its source in the Cotswolds through several rural counties and on through the bustle of the City of London.
